How To Deal With Writers Block (Tips To Help You Out!)

Hey Everyone today I decided to give my tips of how to deal with writers block to make you not panic about them as much.

first of all what is writers block? its something that happens when you have this really cool idea for your character then your brain decides to switch off, so you'll end up staring at the screen for an idea nothing comes out and that's what called a writers block, we authors go through them a lot they're annoying to get over by but you don't have to be alone from my tips I'll be giving you to try and avoid them as you can!

My Tips for beating writers block:

Read as much as you can (I know this can be a difficult one but you know reading does help the grammar and imagination flow a lot better so I always recommend for you to read more as you can)

Do some exercises to warm up your brain (Do you know that working out also helps writers block because sometimes as authors we need to get our brains moving too
sometimes going for a walk or doing fitness does avoid the struggles of trying to write)

Go away and come back to your story later (This one a lot of us as authors find hard but when I went away to focus on other things when I came back my mind felt ready to write and get the story flowing sometimes if you want to sit with the story 24/7 then maybe it makes you get more blocks do other things it doesn't mean you're not a writer you still are!)

Your mind still creates stories even when you're not writing (Yes! this is true it sounds weird for non- writers but for we authors our brains never stop creating stories we talk to our characters in our head in imaginary then imagine what they'll be saying to us back by acting their voices - I know this because I do character interactions with my Bookstagram friends a lot like this:

Tommy: "Hi"

Person: "Hello Tommy How are you?"

Tommy: "I'm Fine thank you just been with Daniel"

Person: "Awe that's nice Tommy"

then I keep the conversation going to helps build the character development and understanding of their readers sometimes if you don't take time it feels like you behind the screen is your character but I am not Tommy I always state to my Bookstagram friends Tommy is imaginary and they know that very well.

So that's it for the tips I hope you all have a lovely day and I'll see you all soon

(p.s I am almost finish with A Good Girl's Guide To Murder so a book review will soon be coming!)

How I Create My Characters?

Hello my fellow writers today I am going to talk about how I create my characters this idea was inspired by Lily If you want to know more her Instagram is @LilyAnnaWrites now let's get into this post! Q: so first of all you might want to know how do I create my characters names? A: basically I find names on baby name sites for my male characters I write more male characters than female because I feel there's something about writing boy characters that make my voice come out more, but everyone has a different taste of gender they write characters for.  most people weren't a fan of me writing boy characters but I'm not changing the gender I write for to make anyone happy, anyway okay enough ranting about that we're moving on now! Q: the other you might want to know is how old are my characters generally? A: at the moment my characters are high school teens going to school and learning about life also discovering themselves and I think teens are inter...
