Restart Book Review

The story focuses on a thirteen year old eighth grader called Chase Ambrose, who's mind just went out of the window last summer when he fell down from his roof and he has amnesia so he doesn't know who he is or the things he use to be before his illness, Chase actually use to be a bad boy and his friends remember him from those times, but since the incident they discovered Chase is not the same boy they knew before and Chase is trying to remember who he is or what he is because everyone at school made his illness popular among him.  I found this book a little bit confusing because of all the different point of views and the were times, I felt a little bored of the book it kind of feels like One Memory of Flora Banks for me in a boy version, but I kind of didn't feel this book very much, sometimes it wasn't interesting as I thought it would be and I also found Chase's dad to be a little annoying and not understanding of his son's illness and most times it ju

Truly Madly Awkward Book Review

Hello everyone I'm finally back from Ghana, it's been so long I've been book blogging but I haven't forgotten about it at all, I mostly been reading and writing in Ghana too to complete some projects and writing especially for The Step Love Sequel, but I am going to sit here now and tell you all about Truly Madly Awkward by Beth Garrod, which entertained me a lot while being in Ghana, since it can be quite boring without a car. This follows of the first book fifteen year old Bella Fisher who actually is going through more awkward things in her life and one of them has been when Bella one day applies a form to win a gig ticket for their favorite band the Heilcans, Bella grabs it because her friends adore them the whole school loves them a lot, what Bella didn't know is that can this keep her two best friends together and actually Tegan one of her friends started acting quite weirdly, which made Bella thought maybe she didn't like Mikey, but throughout the boo

What The Author Life is Like?

Hello Everyone & Happy Saturday! today I am going to talk about what the author life is like? Many of you might have known I've became an author to "The Step Love" which is my first book and to be honest being an author has been one of the greatest and challenging things in my life because there lots of plotting down and constant daydreaming trying to think of what you want your character to go or do at certain times throughout the book. I actually found writing my MC Tommy quite difficult at first because I wanted him to be realistic, so I had to role-play as a boy called Josh to capture and understand the things boys do and act because since I don't see a lot of my guy friends anymore it was hard to write a boy character because it was quite intense and boys go through a lot of deeper emotions in anger and things than girls because boys are mostly not very known much into main characters since in Young Adult, I don't see boys like my MC character Tom

Ruby Redfort Feel The Fear Book Review

The Fourth Book of Ruby Redfort Explains how Ruby broke her arm and ever since then her parents became quite fearless of what will happen to, the spectrum called Ruby for another case about someone stealing the "Little Yellow Shoes" that belonged to a girl who was dead a long time ago throughout the book Ruby pleaded to get her cast taken off her arm; which finally gets taken off and she was able to use her free arm to do the things she wanted.  Clancy her best friend was also going through problems in this fourth book when he meets a Gorilla boy at the diner, Clancy needed help from his sisters about Bailey because he didn't want to bother Ruby. while waiting for Elliot their friend the boy tried to punch Clancy, until Marla one of the Diner staff ended the fight and the boy name was Bailey Roach and he tried to get along with Ruby but she never had time for him and later through the book Ruby stood up for Clancy and everything cleared up and then Clancy thought R

I actually adored the book, the problem is since I am pretty busy with my other projects, I've been having a hard time to read, the book because it's about 373 pages long and I only reached up to 206-207 pages in the book, no where near 300 pages yet, but since I am so busy and  kind of felt the story becoming a bit slow for me and I actually wanted it to m

What Got Me Into Books?

Hello Everyone & Happy Monday! today I am going to talk about what got me into books and why I read them so much now. Basically going back to reading for me started at sixteen, where I felt very alone in college at times with no one to talk with and that when I came home and told my mum that "I am going to start buying books to keep me company at college" and that was it after reading Wonder which was my first read, I then enjoyed reading more books and that how the "SeekingBookWorm" blog too became a thing, so I started blogging about books from 2016, when I started reading pretty much at 2015, so I began reading more middle grade books as such as Geek Girl, Diary of a wimpy kid, my brother is a superhero and so on and I also read a lot of Clarice Bean books by Lauren Child, when I was Twelve and that was it but never read again from that time which I wish I did in my teens because books relate to so many things, I felt at times in my teens but happy at si

Why Do I Read YA Books

Hello Everyone! Today I'm going to talk about why do I read YA books at the age of 22. basically because I was a teenager three years ago and I connect to more things that happened in teenagers and most of it was how I manage around that time to write The Step Love novel and YA Books made me learn so much about friends and family all the things I felt as a teen growing up, where at times you feel lonely away from friends and not being able to fit in at school because mainly a  lot of teenage characters struggle to fit in at school and friends also as well Today's social media too and being labelled for what you are because when you reach school, its becoming quite like "Popular Kids, Geek Kids, Disability Ones & The Bright Kids" a lot of teenage characters as 16 to 17 are left not knowing who to be friends with and when some hit puberty that, when you want your first boyfriend or girlfriend, you start to see life differently and plus some characters don'

How did I started Book Blogging

Hello Everyone, I'm going to talk about how I got into book blogging there a lot of questions that was being asked a lot on bookstagram about book blogging for me. I started Book Blogging at 31 2016 was my first post and I was about sixteen around the time and I ordered the book on 2015 on Amazon, but I didn't have a blog then what made me started the whole blogging idea was my friend had a blog for gaming related and then I decided I wanted a book blog to express my love and rants about characters or writings I hate in books and then SeekingBookWorm was born and basically many of you might not know that,  I am an only child. so book blogging and bookstagramming and reading and writing all give me a escape of happiness and something to do, because sometimes when you can't do these things a lot, it can be isolating but I try to look at the happy moments and things of how amazing friends, I've met on Bookstagram and how my blog gave me a voice to express things a

The Book Of Dust Book Review

This Book focuses on an eleven year old Malcolm who is friends with his own Daemon and he and his friend Asta and he works as a potboy in his parents pub the whole story reveals him and Asta like being together at the boat where its called La Belle Sauvage, the whole plot took place ten years before his other book Dark Materials and Malcolm and a teen he hates being around with and how he copes being a potboy and has to help the nuns at the church.  I struggled to read this book, I didn't get very far into it but since reading the reviews I'm sad to say I don't really feel this book is my genre, I don't read Fantasy so its been hard for me to actually enjoy this and I didn't like the fact this book is basic on evil stuff like Daemons because its not my genre in literature the whole book felt a bit too dark for me and I felt the character should have been older than eleven years old if it was YA Fantasy so I'm sorry to disappoint anyone who loves this book,

The One Memory Of Flora Banks Book Review

This Book opens up about seventeen year old Flora who has amnesia so she can't remember anything the instructions her parents gave or the jokes her friends make, she then kisses someone who she shouldn't, then she remembers it and that was the first time in her life she remembered something since she was ten, Paige is her best friend since they were four but when Flora kisses her boyfriend Drake Paige becomes annoyed with Flora that when Flora's parents were going to France to see her brother Jacob, Paige didn't attend to babysit Flora, so she lied most of the time to her parents she was with Paige when she was living alone at home, Drake messages make Flora in love to the point that she went to Svalbard to meet him alone without anybody, Flora feels like a ten year old girl trapped in a seventeen year old body because she feels not her age at all compared to a party she went to when all the kids were her age. I personally adored the amnesia part of the book, it wa

Why do I read books a lot?

Books have given me a place to explore what its like being inside a fictional person and how they struggle in their lives and sometimes you can relate to some of those issues because sometimes in life for myself, I remember why I wasn't reading a lot I felt alone without words and disturbed by the wrong friends and people, when I went back to reading again, I feel more wiser and smarter than before and understandable with how characters go through things to make them understand the worth of life and problems, plus when you have God he makes those things grow bigger through books for me, I began to believe and accept God and Books are my friends not people because you'll always be going through drama with friends, but if you have God and Books you don't go through any problems, you feel happier and free to express your views and mind, I found it hard to express myself and things that I really felt but Thank to God and Books, I don't feel like that anymore because I
