We follow a seventeen year old Jess (aka Jessica) who's mother died ten years ago when she was nine and throughout Jess wanted to know more about the man who killed her mother known as The Magpie Man and she ends up going this YouTube reality TV show to find out more Jess went through the ups and downs while doing this show because everyone was watching her and everything that she does her father never felt the same after the death of his wife leaving him depressed and in pain so Jess wanted to do her best to find this Magpie Man to end all together because it was getting too much for the Simmons to handle it. I really loved this book a lot Ralph knows how to grip you into his mystery and story along while Jess was such a realistic girl to read about the characters were raw with their emotions that what kept the story going for me it did feel a lot like A Good Girl's Guide to Murder for me due to the elements of the story but I loved the whole YouTube side of it I thought it wa

One Whole Night With You Book Review

The story follows about a girl called Amberlee who wanted to spend valentine's with her boyfriend Oliver but things don't go the way Amberlee planned when she came home from work and found out her boyfriend Oliver was with another woman which was his former girlfriend he liked from when he and Amberlee were at school which made her kicked him out of the house and her best friend Justin came to her for comfort Amberlee then started growing a love for Justin her best friend which made her sister Alyssa approached on it feeling maybe Justin avoid being around Amberlee over the kiss the two of them had that night after seeing the band concert. I actually enjoyed this book it was written as a novella due to Madden explaining she was having a hard time writing this book because of writing slumps she had but if it was longer I would love to see the relationship between Amberlee and Justin throughout the book, I thought they're a sweet couple to read about but I also wanted to th

The Black Kids Book Review

We Follow Ashley Bannet a wealthy teenage girl who her mom and dad tried to make her and sister Jo live the best life to feel protected and safe but after her family end up in the Riots that this story was set in Los Angeles 1992 where we discover the true stories of  Rodney King Riots by the LAPD Offcer beat a black man also a young girl called Latasha Harlins who was shot in the back of the head by Korean Clerk in a store over a orange juice that rises throughout the book Ashley's sister Jo reminded her through tough times and Ashley realized her color made some of her friends saw her differently because of her skin and the way she talked.  I loved how this book dealt with real topics about being black in America and how white girls treat black girls and how society sparks the race cards about being a girl and being black how you're suppose to be have to your fellow girls you see on the street and it really blew my mind how white people behaved and what I found interesting ho

Stay A Little Longer Book Review

Aman life turned upside down after her father is now dead and gone she then meets a man who moves to their street and he changes everything for her that Guman made her feel happy and loved she wanted to be the same for him Trigger Grief, Suicide and Homophobia that are among but it all a very emotional story its targeted more for Dyslexia readers so it was more shorter. I really adored this book the characters were such a gem because it was so sweet and emotional seeing a young girl get on with an elderly man after her father does I wished it wasn't targeted in a way for Dyslexia readers not that I don't support Dyslexia it just wanted wanted it to be a tiny bit longer because I was really loving the book that, I didn't want it to end but sadly it had to! xo SeekingBookWorm

Erratic & Unncessary Book Review

This is a set of poems made into one story which expressing feelings of what each person felt in the book there wasn't a character in it really was more of a set of emotions put into a story so there isn't much of a plot-line, I can give but I recommend if you love Poems then give this one a read! xo SeekingBookWorm

Frankly In Love Book Review

Frankly in love is a coming of age story about a Korean- American boy who starts life with his parents in California but they gave him one rule he must date Korean Girls only but Frankie means Brit a girl who he really likes but she's white so he and his best friend Joy decided to fake date to have freedom because his friend is in the same shoes as Frankie... I really struggled with this book because Yoon made me feel this a lot like John Green the writing style was putting me off but I wanted to give Frankie a chance so I kept reading on but the more I continued the bored I became because I almost found Frankly annoying to read about I hated how he said certain things like Farphone when it's suppose to be smartphone Yoon could have said Cellphone to make Frankie more like his age and also I hated how he and Q were being racist about black people and etc so this was a no from me! xo SeekingBookWorm

All Your Twisted Secrets Book Review

This story focuses on Amber who's sister Maggie died and left her in a tragic way that she spends time with her boyfriend Robbie apparently they we're on the way for a scholarship and Amber also Robbie got trapped in the room for an unknown reason and Diego was one of the boy's who fell in love with Amber but due to Robbie the whole thing turned into a whirlwind these students were all stranded in this room not knowing how to get out... I enjoyed this book and I laughed and was shocked about how these characters, were going to cope throughout this room and it felt a lot like one of us is lying in a modern breakfast club style and I wanted more of this book because it was interesting and immervise also addicting to the story and the characters I can't wait to see where Urban goes with the second book because I really loved this debut novel so far. xo SeekingBookWorm

Two Can Keep A Secret Book Review

This story follow Ellery and Ezra that they're twins and they are looking into the case of two dead homecoming queens apparently the killer is known to be back two years later can they both manage to discover and solve the case before things get out of hand? I loved this book so much it was very interesting and quite mind blowing I love how Mcmanus was realstic and more adventurous with this story at first I thought I wasn't going to like this book because One of us is lying didn't really go well for me so I had quite mixed feelings going into this one if I am being honest but after hearing everyone raving on Bookstagram about this book to me I finally gave in to give it a read and I actually enjoyed it more than I expected to so I gave this a four out of five on goodreads! xo SeekingBookWorm

Get A Life, Chloe Brown Book Review

We meet a thirty-something year old Chloe Brown who is a computer geek with chronic illness she also spends time with her sisters Dani and Eve who always support their older sister Chloe whilist Chloe decides to make a list to help her "Get A Life" and then she forms a love for this boy called Red aka "Redfort" brown who has a huge crush on Chloe but found it hard to admit it for her. To be honest this book didn't live up the hype for me and I was quite disappointed because I saw this book all over bookstagram and literally everyone I spoke to was raving about this book to me but it just wasn't my thing what I didn't like was: Sex Scenes were not needed for this genre A Cat I didn't find the sense which a cat being in the book not connectable characters I didn't really like anyone really in the book it felt dull and I nearly wanted to put it down! xo SeekingBookWorm

No More Sheets Book Review

Ms Juanita makes you explore the truth of sex and how satan tries to make us have a desire to something that doesn't agree with us she explains everything in a senible and truthful also friendly way for you to understand that you've been sitting in your life creating Sin Sex and you have to clear those sheets out of your body because they'll be destorying you physically and mentally which was the main point of "No More Sheets - Starting Over" which means you think a lot about the actions that we humans have been taking against our soul and bodies. This book made me felt like Ms Bynum was my best friend because the truths of everything she spoke about was so powerful and raw they're times I choke up tears because of how sad it was in how she got treated in her life growing up it makes me understand how her time was different from today and the naive thoughts she had been a teen against sex because she went into the pit with a innocent mind not knowing the dan

Lie Like A Magpie Book Review

we meet Maggie Morton an 18 year old sixth form student who has been lying who she is and what she is and everything about her also her family and life now it's time for her to face the truth of who she really is... Wow Lily made me so emo for her work I loved how this was so raw in the emotions of sadness and pain the characters felt like real people in my eyes they were times I found Maggie herself a bit frustrating espically around Josh who was a bad boy but he was so sweet deep down for her and you could feel the love that formed between these two characters I would have loved there was a kiss scene instead of Josh dying and taking his life but I don't tend to read YA Thrillers but I did enjoy due to struggling with irl issues it made me found it slow at first but as I kept reading on, I found myself really enjoying the story I can't wait to read what Lily writes next! for a debut it was quite a good read and I'm proud of her xo SeekingBookWorm

Holly Jackson has literally DONE IT AGAIN! she has done it again folks! i don't know when I'll stop repeating that but she has and always will, WOW this book two was a rollercoster of anger and emotions also sadness along the way this time we get to see Pip dark side than book one I was surprised to find out she was eighteen, which shows Jackson has developed the characters a lot making her more enjoying, I also felt the love between her and Ravi was more appearing in this book you can tell the love Ravi has for her because the kiss scene represents everything and his feelings for her. which was very adoarable seeing the person I wis

A Totally Awkward Love Story Book Review

A Totaly Awkward Love Story is about two teens who wanted sex and loose their vrigin side which I didn't find anything too bothering about it just there was some humour in it Hannah and Sam were the two main characters of the book which I couldn't stand Hannah's best friend Stella she was a character that felt very slapable because of her annoying self also Hannah felt like the girls wanted her best friend to do everything for her which I couldn't stand because I wanted Hannah to be the girl who stood up for herself without her BFF but that wasn't the thing at all. I personally struggled to enjoy this book so I have it a 3.4 out of 4 stars because I wanted more and I couldn't find anyone relatable I had DNF this book, I was quite disappointed because I didn't feel for the writing style or anything. Thank you for listening xo SeekingBookWorm

Tweet Cute Book Review

This book feauture two teenage characters who two parents own the restraunt and they are called Pepper and Jack then they develop a romance through a chat App called Wazuel where all the students talk together Jack was the boy and creator of the app that his parents didn't know he was a part offf and the school didn't too this changes his world upside down until he meets Pepper a girl in his class that, they both kept talking which tranform their relationship into Twitter and the whole thing becomes a trending hastag between the two they had to solve it out before it was too late.... I didn't love this book to be honest I felt bored reading it because there wasnt anything interesting a lot apart from the whole twitter drama and I wanted it to be more punchy, I found the writing style to be quite cringe and slow reading and I didn't have any connection for anyone in the book at all maybe apart from Jack I did, I found him to be quite a dorky cutie to read about anyway I

We follow Emoni a seveenteen year old mother to her two year old daughter babygirl (Aka Emma) and her grandma Bela Emoni loves to cook and knows it but life is diffcult being a teenage mom and school girl but Emoni still wants to achieve her dream by joining a cooking course at school to be able to afford for her daughter and life. I loved this book because it was different from anything I've read in a very long time I love how food was part of the story there was also a romance between Emoni and Malachi one boy that she liked but didn't want to take it seriously because of her daugther babygirl and she was known with her boyfriend Tyrone which I couldn't stand he seemed to be those boys who didn't want Emoni to be herself also he use to bring girls home to his daughter Emma, I enjoyed Emoni and Malachi forming a relationship in the end I hope I get to see them again because this book was very addictive, loving, sweet and emotional read which gave me all the feels. xo S

Queenie Book Review

This book focuses on a black girl called Queenie living in south east London trying to cope with the breakup she went through with her white boyfriend Tom, however Queenie has also been struggling with her mental health issues because she was worried about being pregance and missing being with her boyfriend so she hanged around with men and sleeping with them while she realised that she wanted to apologise to Tom for what she did then Tom claimed he has another girlfriend which breaks Queenie hard and she wished she didn't make the mistake but it was too late. I personally found this a good read but I didn't find Queenie at times enjoying as I thought she sometimes felt annoying and comparing herself to girls she sees on Instagram I think her thearpist was the one who saved this book for me becase she was reality I'm not saying I didn't like Queenie I did but she just wasn't my taste for me but the other characters were lovely I loved her younger cousin Diana I foun

One Of Us Is Lying Book Review

the story talks about five high school students who end up in Detention called Cooper, Addy, Nate Bronwyn and Simon while being in this Detention Simon is known as the outsider of this gossip app he dies 24 hours before all these five students stories get revealed online, the police think someone was part of the reason how he died but no one knew all the students went through their own life struggles and Nate was struggling with drug issues, which he ends in in Jail and Jake abuses Addy later in the book which made Addy reliazed her boyfriend was bad to the point he wanted to kill her Addy was lucky that she was alive because of how the scene went through so the rest to be continued in book two... I would give this a 3 out of five stars because I personally found this slow and the characters were not likeable as I wanted them to I also felt the author was making Simon death such a BIG topic on the book that, the story was dragging and I wanted more than everything being about Simo

I loved this book so much it was cute and adorable it really fits for Christmas because I never read a story set on Xmas and Wes and Sophie were sweet to read about, I enjoyed this one a lot I want to see all the characters again if there was a sequel I can't wait to read more fr

I personally tried to enjoy this book but I couldn't since I listened to the audiobook so I currently didn't finish the physical copy because the whole book was a bit slow paced and I connected more with the audiobook than the book but I enjoyed the characters just I wasn't feeling the actual book like the
