The Way I Used To Be Book Review

I'll leave some Trigger Warning *Sex, Drugs, Rape, Slut Shaming* I wouldn't recommend this book for younger readers! We follow the story of Eden a fourteen year old school girl who explains her journey in four parts of being a victim raped by her brother's best friend Eden has always been a good girl who her parents knew her by but once she gets into sophomore and Junior to Senior year to change her persona which leads Eden into trouble because all the guys she hanged out with she lied she was eighteen but legally she underage and loved this boy called Josh who was way older then her he was shocked to find out she was fourteen because Eden lies and hides who she is to escape by drinking and smoking with her best friend Mara, the life for Eden at home was her struggle since no being around her brother Caelin and ends up feeling like an only child. The story explains two characters going through their life struggles Rob Lachlan and Meagan Day who is the sister of Samantha Day who is pregnant to her baby and Meagan is told by her parents her family needed to act perfect so no one knew what was going on with her sister baby and Meagan end up telling Rob about it but what Meagan didn't know that he also went through some tough life-ship with his best friend Connor the two of them use to be good friends until Rob father was known for doing something very risky in the two that it affected Rob and Connor's father not to get along then it went down to Connor and Rob so after everything Meagan realized her best friend Rachael was comparing herself to Meagan because she felt so perfect and Meagan ended up the same way with her sister which showed that the two good friends were going through drama because of the boys. Summer Of No Regrets Book Review

The story starts of about four friends finishing their exams to enjoy the summer but they're all struggling with their personal battles they're Nell, Sasha and Cam, Hetal want to live a adventure with no regrets but things didn't end up that way for them which Nell ended up having a panic attack because she was with Cam trying to find her birth father then things didn't go to plan so her friends ended up seeing Nell in hospital to see if she was alright also Sasha managed to get on with her dad again after she hated him for his new girlfriend and everything went well for the friends in the end.
