Harriet Manners is back as a sixteen year old girl and has her own group called Team JINTH where she has a group chat with two new appearances Jasper and India they were last mentioned in book four when Harriet started sixth form however things don't go the way she wants it to be in this book, she learns to be mature and solve challenges that came across her way and trying to avoid her Bully Alexa in showing her that, she no longer the Geek she sees anymore also.
Rin Harriet friend she meets at the modeling agency comes to stay with Harriet and wouldn't leave her room to go outside so Harriet had to find a plain to get her out, Harriet then thought Rin had a crush on Jasper, but basically it was Toby from the last time she saw him and Toby also had a crush on Rin, which he couldn't admit to anyone until Harriet finally got the real picture of them, then her and Jasper left them for Privacy, Harriet also takes her baby sister Tabitha to do some modeling, when she basically 8 months old and is still a baby, but the Vogue Agency didn't actually know that, so things later went well for her at the end; however India and Harriet sort of weren't in the greatest terms because India thinks Harriet controls everyone in her friendship group because it always has to be about Harriet and not them which Harriet never saw it was true.
I loved how grown up Harriet was in this book and plus she managed to deal with challenges you see her become a bit confident and less tearful than in the other books, she would start crying when things go wrong, you see her actually being stronger to fight the toughest scenes she comes across too, I kinda hated how India turned against Harriet for the all about her fight and I never got to see much of India again, since she left the Cafe, but I hope in book Six which is sadly the last book of this amazing series of Geek Girl and to be honest I learned so much from Geek Girl, it was a book that I could relate to Harriet in so many different levels and it was quite emotional for me watching her grow from a baby fifteen year old to a very mature grown up sixteen year old girl in this fifth book, but I hope that Harriet always remains in my heart because she been a great character also if she was real I would adore her as a great best friend.
Thank you all for listening.
