We follow Jackie who had the perfect life until her parents died in a tragic accident that leaves her with no family so she travels to live with the Walter Boys who are a mother to Katherine known as a stepmother to Jackie living with the boys have been hard for Jackie to adjust to the life maybe for her she might end up finding love...

Novak wrote this book in a realistic way dealing with real topics that what made this book enjoying because family loss was mostly the plot of why I took a lot of love for this story because it's something a lot of YA books don't really talk about and it needs to be spoken more and I loved Jackie character she was a girl that you related to many things she felt aswell as someone who haven't lived with a house of boys before I had thoughts how she was going to cope with them and mange the life I loved how Ali wrote the characters it was just those cheesy teen romances that I wished I read in my teenage days because like they say books can be your friends and this book felt like I knew Jackie in real life because of her mistakes and relatable feelings toward the boys.

This book feauture two teenage characters who two parents own the restraunt and they are called Pepper and Jack then they develop a romance through a chat App called Wazuel where all the students talk together Jack was the boy and creator of the app that his parents didn't know he was a part offf and the school didn't too this changes his world upside down until he meets Pepper a girl in his class that, they both kept talking which tranform their relationship into Twitter and the whole thing becomes a trending hastag between the two they had to solve it out before it was too late.... I didn't love this book to be honest I felt bored reading it because there wasnt anything interesting a lot apart from the whole twitter drama and I wanted it to be more punchy, I found the writing style to be quite cringe and slow reading and I didn't have any connection for anyone in the book at all maybe apart from Jack I did, I found him to be quite a dorky cutie to read about anyway I ...

Ruby Redfort is going through a lot of issues her friend Del didn't trust her after a rumor was going around when Ruby tried to save her from Vapona the junior high bully and things for Del and Ruby didn't end in good terms but in the end it did Ruby also discovered her Mother Sabina might have been poisoned by what Ruby stayed up all night with her best friend Clancy to find out what it was. however she wasn't trusted by Blacker one of the Agent in the Spectrum's which sent out stories to the other agents not to trust Ruby, which Ruby couldn't get her hand on what it was, she also figured out a girl called Sal, she was disguised by Lorelei one of the baddest villains in the book, she can change herself into so many things that you'll never know who she really is, she planned to kill Ruby with Count also, Clancy nearly died in this book by some poison being given to him on the arm.
