The Amazing Edie Eckhart Book Review

This book was so cute! I loved it so much the illustrations are so adorable!

We meet an eleven year old Edie Eckhart who has cerebral palsy and her life is written in diary form so every day and time you get to learn more about her and best friend Oscar Jenkins their relationship was like romeo and juliet but once they started school for the first time it changes everything and people saw Edie a lot different because she has Cerebral Palsy and Edie proved to many that her condition doesn’t really get to her but what made her really think is if she wasn’t disabled what would her life be like which connects to a lot of disabled children and adults male or female!

Rosie wrote this book from her honestly heart about disability and how to accept yourself for being different and the shocking part is that Edie ended up in love with a girl instead of a boy so there’s some LGBT in this middle grade I’m not so bothered about it in middle grade books because I don’t judge anyone choice of love but what I enjoyed the most is the Cerebral Palsy Rep every now and again Cerebral Palsy gets hidden under the carpet because some authors are scared fo speak about it so Rosie made me had so much inspiration to write my own cerebral palsy character even though he’s a little older than this audience I would love to write a middle grade like this some day, I can’t wait to see Edie again in book too she felt so much like a friend to me!

The Idea Of Tommy & Daniel

Hello Everyone welcome back to another blog post! Today post is actually a special one since "The Step Love" turns one year today and I asked everyone what plans I should do and by the way I loved the answers from bookstagram but I decided maybe I talk about how Tommy and Daniel came to reality for me to talk about them all the time to you guys. I remember it was 2015 and I was sitting in my room thinking of what else to write then this boy appeared into my mind and I thought about it twice then I saw another boy came as his brother then that's where I saw a Tommy and his little brother Daniel, then I started to see a boy and a girl forming something together and that's how Sarah and Tommy came then other more people plus Harriet too and the ideas for making Tommy and Daniel are not really my strength or anything, I think God knew I was an author since I was writing The Little Bear Stories and I wrote The Last Day Of School Term in 2010 then I took a long hiatus...

How To Deal With Writers Block (Tips To Help You Out!)

Hey Everyone today I decided to give my tips of how to deal with writers block to make you not panic about them as much. first of all what is writers block? its something that happens when you have this really cool idea for your character then your brain decides to switch off, so you'll end up staring at the screen for an idea nothing comes out and that's what called a writers block, we authors go through them a lot they're annoying to get over by but you don't have to be alone from my tips I'll be giving you to try and avoid them as you can! My Tips for beating writers block: Read as much as you can (I know this can be a difficult one but you know reading does help the grammar and imagination flow a lot better so I always recommend for you to read more as you can) Do some exercises to warm up your brain (Do you know that working out also helps writers block because sometimes as authors we need to get our brains moving too sometimes going...

Not Like Other Girls Book Review

This book was so good I just finished it now and I don't have words to capture everything I'm still speechless from it all... we follow seventeen year of Jo Kirby who was a popular girl when her life got turned upside down and all the boys she was friends with hated her even girls like her own self can't stand her until Jo's ex best friend Maddie goes missing she wants to find out what happned to her and how she got to disappear Jo discovers secrets, pain and aches in her seeking even having a boyfriend called Hudson who stood by her side to help her solve what was going on and it all does a turn over from there. I really liked Jo as a character and I saw a lot of Pip from a good girl's guide to murder in her and the way she was firece and wild made me root for her throughout the book and I loved the relationship she had with Hudson and how I found them both adorable and all the only thing is that the themes were a little wild that I wouldn't recommend this fo...
