The story talks about a sixteen year old Gay Protagonist Simon Spier, who is gay but hasn't came out yet to his family or friends and doesn't know who he is or wants to be yet, Simon has a very strong friendship with a boy he meets on Tumblr called Creek wood Secrets called Blue and the two of them start talking to each other as their relationship gets stronger Simon thinks he never met Blue or have met Blue, he seeks around wanting to know who Blue is, also Martin is Simon's classmate and Martin has a crush on one of Simon's female friends called Abby, which she doesn't like him and Martin tells Simon he doesn't help him out with Abby, he'll tell the whole school the secret identity Simon keeps which means he is Gay, Simon tries to help Martin with Abby while on the other hand Abby ended up falling for Nick and after Martin does a Tumblr post about Simon and Blue, Simon then felt everything in his world was about to fade and turn upside down, in the book its unknown that Simon forgives Martin but later Blue gets revealed as Bram (Aka Abraham) a boy who sits at Simon's lunch table.

I really loved this book because the characters felt real and they were times I just wanted to give Simon a big hug and tell him everything will be okay and it was interesting and hilarious and also dealt with real serious issues like bullying and coming out and all the other characters were also interesting and they felt real and connectable it felt like I was with Simon and his friends and Family, I also adored Mrs and Mr Spier Simon's parents because in books Parents are not very loving and they were also hilarious and I adored Bieber, too I actually knew he was named after the singer "Justin Bieber" which was quite funny and I loved that idea for a dog, I felt Becky really wrote this book from the heart because the more you read on, I felt a lot like I was in Simon's head and everything he felt made me want to tell him, he'll be alright.

Thank you for listening to this amazing review.

  2. I agree with you! The characters were relatable and perfect in their own way but with some flaws. I really loved this book when I read it last year. It's definitely been one of my favorite reads of 2017! Great review!
