Audiobook Review A Monster Calls

A Monster Calls starts of by a 12 year old boy called Conor o'Malley his mother is sick with Cancer and he's struggling with his home life and school since he is bullied at school trying to carry the two worlds which gives him pressure, his father left a few years ago and went to marry in America, leaving Conor and his mum alone which his mum illness grows stronger, Conor grandma stays with Conor to see if his mother could get better but things couldn't really improve so Conor's Grandma tells him his mum has to go back to hospital, again Conor use to have nightmares every night which he didn't know what they were then Conor meets a monster at his bedroom window the monster begans to tell him tales of things that would happen in his life. I adored the audiobook since when I first ever started getting into books I did pick up the Monster Calls by Patrick Ness the book but I found it was too hard to read even the audiobook makes you feel the emotions a lot deeper...

Audiobook Review I Have A Bad Feeling About This

this book opens on a sixteen year old Henry Lambert whose father hated him being inside playing video games and decide to send him off to a survival camp and Henry's best friend Randy wanted to go with him, when the boys get there they meet their trainer Max, who turns out to be quite a mean guy, but when you get to know him he is pretty hilarious and Henry also meets a girl called Monica and ends up falling in love with her. I loved this book so much it was painfully funny that I found myself laughing at times to things being mentioned and I feel the Narrator did a good job bringing all the characters to life and he also played a great Henry too which was awesome and I don't want to give too much away so I'll leave it here. Thank you all for listening. xo SeekingBookWorm

Topic: Is Audible worth it?

Hi everyone and today I want to speak about is having audible worth it, I've joined audible after church on One Sunday and its been helping me so much for reading lately because I sadly couldn't read at ALL this year and I keep seeing awesome new books everytime on Bookstagram, so I decided let me give this audible app a try since amazon did recommend this to me to give it a go, but I didn't so after church on Sunday. I did and its been helping me so much with reading and everything plus the membership to join audible if you're a UK based is £7.99 per month for one month, which isn't that bad one thing I sort of love about audible you can cancel the membership at anytime and still keep your books, so is worth it? and I think it depends on the person I heard a few people say they don't like audiobooks because it feels like you're "Cheating the book" but I don't think you are it has saved me some time since I don't have money but yeah thos...

Audiobook Review Geek Girl All Wrapped Up

this story about Harriet and Nick first romance for the Christmas season and I found the story quite cute and interesting about young love at Christmas, but the Novella is quite small and everything Harriet feels was hilarious it was good to relate to everything they feel especially for Nick and Harriet I didn't really feel the narrator for this book because she made me feel a little bored at first being Harriet's voice but later re-downloading it made me connect to the story again the problem is the novella was super short like eighteen chapters long which didn't feel like anything listening to it in one sitting because I end up finishing it in one pace. xo SeekingBookWorm

Audiobook Review Sadie

Sadie is a nineteen year old girl coping to deal with grief after her thirteen year old sister Mattie was murdered and the whole thing turns Sadie's world upside down, she trying to find out how her sister died also Sadie herself is missing everyone is seeking beyond her a guy called West makes a podcast trying to find evidence for Sadie's case to see if she manages to return back to her parents. this book was WOW! I felt Sadie was so real that I could give her a hug and tell her everything will be okay this story made me angry, sad and I feel the sibling pain also because Sadie really loved her little sister and Mattie means everything to her and feeling everything in the podcast called "The Girls" really makes you understand the world of Sadie and her sister Mattie, this book also made me think a lot of how great sibling love is and also captures how much you can love someone no matter what you want them save and Sadie the book was a lot about that! Thank ...
